GDi GISDATA developed a series of 3D Models covering the countries in the region as well as all major cities. 3D models consist of DEM’s of different resolution depending on mapped area, and 3D building models for some urban areas. Country level DEM’s are of resolution of 25-50 meters and for urban areas the resolution is 5 meters. 3D Models integrated with country and city atlases enable users to add 3D information to their GIS data – which is essential for specific applications like telecommunication network planning, urban development, environmental studies, simulation and training for military or aviation purposes, urban planning, civil applications and cartography.

Using satellite imagery GDi GISDATA produces land use/land cover databases in GIS formats to fit customer needs in areas like urban planning, environmental protection or telecommunications network planning. Land use/land cover maps are available in high resolution of 5 m for major cities and in 25-50 m resolution on the country level.
